God has given me purpose!

God has given me purpose!

I didn’t understand why I was called away from the only real church I knew and felt comfortable and loved? Why was I being called out of my comfort zone and into a place where I knew no one!??
Well as I’m looking back I see that God was answering my prayers about serving and pouring into His Kingdom! And I believe that He needed to get me away from everything and everyone that I was clinging to, so that I could hear Him, I mean really hear Him! I believe He also wanted me to come up higher and expect more from Him. My thinking was too small for what God has planned for my life!
It’s amazing what the Lord will do through you and for you when you step out in faith and obedience!
Obedience is key!...I have discovered my purpose!

Grace & Peace

  1. I think we often expect less of ourselves than what God actually has in store for us. It is hard to step out of our comfort zones. So happy for you that you did and that you have found joy and purpose.

Do you have Christian Community?

As believers we are instructed in God's word to come together for fellowship with Christ and one another. One way to accomplish this is through Christian community. “But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin” 1 John 1:7. “And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching…” Hebrews 10:24. Christian community should not be about being in a social clique and it should extend beyond attending church. What it should be about is a body of believers coming together as one in Christ to share, love and care for one another. We should come together as the body of Christ to pray and worship with one another. We also should come together to help meet the needs of others. If we study the meaning of Jesu...

God is preparing each of us to be the vessel He wants to use in the life of another person...

I read this today and it fits with what I believe God is speaking to me… "Do not stay in the stronghold. Go into the land of Judah"... - 1 Samuel 22:5 When life beats down on us and we get to the place where we want to hide in a cave, God often places people around us who prod us into moving in the right direction. He does not want us to remain in the place of discouragement. He wants us to move into the land of "praise." Judah means "praise." "You must keep moving! There are too many who are depending on you in the Kingdom." I didn't totally understand what he meant at the time. Now I know he was saying that God is preparing each of us to be the vessel He wants to use in the life of another person, but we will never be that vessel if we give up and hide in our cave of discouragement. Not only must we keep moving, we must move into a new realm. Our attitude must move from discouragement to praise. It is when we move past discouragement ...

We’ve all had days or long seasons when life has become so full of challenges that it seems nothing is going as we’d hoped! I’ve had long seasons where the plans I’ve made or what I’ve set out to accomplish was somehow diverted by some unforeseen circumstance. Everything I attempted to resolve matters and regain momentum failed. Well I’ve just come out of one of those long. Seasons. The good news is it didn’t last. The bad news is it was painful. There are scars and residue that ensure the pain and lessons will not be forgotten.  In the grand scheme of things, a hectic day doesn’t impact life or eternity all that much, but when a day becomes days that evolve into an extended season of financial strain, a lack of provision, various other challenges, it leads to feelings of frustration, uncertainty, and can seem overwhelming.  Here are 7 things that have helped me through those unforeseen, difficult seasons in life. My sincerest prayer is that these reminders will h...
