My church was so kind to provide me with biblical counseling training. I am 10 weeks away from completion! This was one of many doors that the Lord has opened for me. The Lord has also given me the opportunity to co-lead & sponsor women in our church recovery & reconciliation ministry and it has been an amazing experience! God does amazing things through this program. I can’t tell you how much it has changed my life and blessed me to watch these women be transformed in Christ! All things are possible through Christ!!
As believers we are instructed in God's word to come together for fellowship with Christ and one another. One way to accomplish this is through Christian community. “But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin” 1 John 1:7. “And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching…” Hebrews 10:24. Christian community should not be about being in a social clique and it should extend beyond attending church. What it should be about is a body of believers coming together as one in Christ to share, love and care for one another.
